I always wanted a beautiful wedding (everyone does!) and love doing the preparations but I don't have much obsession or excitement about HANTARAN thingy. When I posted about this 2 days ago in my social accounts, feed backs from friends and colleagues of our era prove that I'm not alone.

Gloomy Day

Bismillah.

Rezeki, early this year Iji got a new job offer (Government) in KL. We both were extremely thankful and happy for this rezeki, alhamdulillah is the best we can say to Allah who knows best. Semua orang kata, rezeki nak kawen. 

Just now I'd made a phone call to the department where he supposed to report duty on March mere asking on details of the course he needs to undergo.

Sadly I was informed that he will be having an all-year-long course starting early March until end of 2013.

Like...what? Seriously?!

Prior to this, we just thought the course is just for 1 month or at most, 3 months only. An all-year long course would mean that we can no longer keep in touch for that very long duration of time. there will be no free weekend or day out unless with certain strong excuse / reason only.

Double sad.

I do asked about leave on reason of marriage, the officer said leave has to be applied at least 1 month before the marriage date; and the duration of leave will be solely depending on the higher authority's consideration. the longest in my imagination, is just 3 days. I don't wanna hope or expect for more.

Triple sad.

No more wedding preps together. There goes our honeymoon dream. There goes our plan to celebrate Ramadhan and Eid together, yet dream to perform tarawikh prayer together. and, many more...............

I cannot accept this but I have to. I don't know what to think of, hence straight away asking for postponement of date (or year?) but Iji insisted to go on. I know his reason and I love him even more for that.

How hard it is, I MUST face this.

I really, really need to build very much of inner strength in myself.

because iji said,

we have to go through this in the name of a bright future.

insyaAllah.

counting, 

we just have less than 2 weeks before Iji was 'imprisoned'.

to Allah we leave it all.

at this moment...hilang terbang mood untuk buat wedding preps...Allah...

Plan and Prepare

This is just another quick boring update before hayya alassolah Zohor.

Lately I am soooo in Wedding Preps mood hinggakan tak dapat nak focus keje. Sorry work ;( 

This SHOULD'NT happen I know. 

Tapi banyaknye benda tak buat lagi.

and less than 6 months left! ;(

1. Photog tak book lagi, baru survey2 tanya price.

Korang budget untuk Photography berapa ye?

RM2500 ok ke?

2. Barang Hantaran pon non-beli lagi. Baru beli satu je telekung from Bella Ammara.

Blh bukak fb dorang kalau nak tgk. 

Saje beli telekung bewarna sbb sebelum ni semua koleksi telekung kaler putih je.

3. Paling I risau pasal MUA.

Iji insist on MUA prmpuan jgk. Hoho susahnye nak cari.

I know few of them with big names/ experienced MUA dekat area Kelantan ni tapi they didn't accept services untuk mekap saje sbb my wedding will be held during peak season i.e school holiday...kalau nak mekap kena ambik pakej. I dont want package from bridal sbb I nak tempah baju on my own and pelamin? pelamin I gigih nak DIY. ntah sempat ntah tak.

4. Alang2 cakap pasal pelamin, I tersangatlah suka pelamin by ARI. sangat fall in love and I find none of bridal dkt area I blh buat the same/90% same. kalau pun ada, mahal sgt quote sampai 3.5k only for pelamin ye. I think I boleh spend up to 2k kalau DIY plus Iji, my uncle and brother said they are willing to help with the pertukangan part i.e stage etc. But I kena pakat jugak dgn bridal untuk sewa kerusi je. I hope I can realise this. Kalau I tak sempat alamatnye kenalah SEWA jugakkk. This part is quite challenging since I am staying far from my family. kena ulang alik balik kampong sokmooo.

5. For wedding attire, warna tema dan design belum decide tapi dah ada some ideas cuma need to discuss further. For this very very important part, alhamdulillah I rasa lega sikit sebab I've contacted a young designer who offers affordable price untuk I. I dah tgk her artworks and I rasa dia talented, artwork dia cantik bagi I. I hope we both can work well. I know its a lil bit risky to trust on newcomers tapi kalau nak harga ok engage their service. Designer mahal2 tu tak mampoooo nak melaburkan duit2 I yang tak banyak mana ni untuk dorang. We (read: yuyu and iji) finance everything (except for foods) for the wedding sbb taknak susahkan family so pandai2 lah rancang duit ye dak. Avoid berhutang ye.
