Still Preparing

Assalamualaikum

Kehadapan rakan2 B2B yang disayangi,

Dah berbulan tak update…bertukar tempat kerja takes time to catch up dengan kerja baru....sorry tak sempat nak update blog kesayangan. pejam celik hampir 3 bulan Iji menjalani latihan..but it feels like years! Tinggal lagi lebih kurang 2 bulan untuk latihan praktikal pula...masa agak suntuk tapi mintalah Allah permudahkan. Wedding preps progress setakat hari ni Alhamdulillah. Sebab dah lama tak update jadi nak balas rindu dendam pada pelabuhan mimpi kita , so kasi panjang sikit yeeJ

a)      DOORGIFT

Doorgift dah beli sebanyak 700 pcs (need to add up some more). Separa lega lepas beli ni sebab buah tangan antara yang paling memakan kos tinggi dalam majlis perkahwinan. Kos untuk praying mat memang tinggi tapi kami memang cadang nak bagi buah tangan yang boleh digunapakai oleh tetamu. Untuk deco, saya akan ribenkan saja. Untuk masa ni, hanya 10% je siap diribenkan. Lagi 90% taktau bila berkesempatan. Cuma lega kalau tak sempat because on June onwards my auntie and my lil sis cuti semester, I guess they can settle that...hopefully. SU & EFA I count on you both dear!

b)      WEDDING DRESS, VEIL, HIJAB, HIS SUIT.

Iji’s traditional suit dah siap. Review nanti lepas kawen, insyaAllah. Iji punya cuma pending sampIn dan tengkolok. Ada tak tempat beli Sampin & Tengkolok yang cantik tapi murah? Itu masih consider nak beli atau sewa je. Kalau ada yang sesuai warna dan gaya, mungkin kami sewa saja.

HIM

Wedding dress dah 50% siap. Done with first fitting. Ready for 2^nd fitting this Sunday (again im nervous). Both reception and bertandang dress were ready for collection end of June this year (yelah takkan next year haruu la hehe). *Gluppp need lots of $$$*

HER

 On 2^nd appointment with the designer, kami akan discuss kombinasi warna manik, batu dan labuci pada dress. When it comes to wedding dress, I dont like surprise..that is why I choose to discuss with him first before that part is done. It's not that I dont trust my designer, I just want to ensure his choice of colours suits my liking. :)

Veil will only be prepared once baju dah siap sepenuhnya so that I can test which style and veil length suits me best. I’m dreaming of veil macamni, tapi tunggu tengok sesuai tak dengan baju dan my height...ramai kata veil labuh meleret ni tak sesuai untuk petite macam i...but let see how it goes...

Tudung I gigih nak DIY sebab I nak try and test dulu pesen ape yang cantik dan sesuai with the whole outfit. Kain and lace untuk my dress pun banyak lebih, tinggal nak pk pesen ape nak buat je...

c)       ROOM DÉCOR

I love white bedroom. English deco. I dah beli 2 set cadar tapi belum jumpa all white and mighty. Masa Parkson Gudang sale, I grab the opportunity untuk dapatkan one set of quilt and cadar queen size. It’s Jean Perry’s, truly satisfied!

Untuk bedroom décor, I beli hydrangeas dekat Nilai 3. Nanti I kena cari vase dekat KK Home Deco or SSF. Bought at a very good price sebab masa I beli masa moving out sale. Consider it my luck.

Like it or not, nowadays, dengan fesyen yg moving very fast dan cukup meriah, munculnya satu scenario di mana baju tetamu tidak kurang hebat/cantik dengan baju pengantin. Yes truth hurts people!

The only magic that saves and differs the BRIDE and the GUESTs is VEIL! 

Jadi pastikan kamu pilih veil yang paling sesuai untuk dirimu. ceh ayat majalah. :P

Advice for Choosing the Perfect Wedding Veil

1. Remember the veil is part of the Bridal outfit, not something that is ‘plonked’ on your head as an after thought.

2. Try lots of different styles and lengths of veil in different fabrics to find the one that best compliments  your  outfit.

3. Don’t  have a heavily patterned veil with a very ornate dress as one will ‘fight’ with the other.

7. Think of adding colour eg. embroidery, to the veil to link in with your bridesmaids and/or bouquet. -

8. A veil can transform the simplest dress into a stunning Bridal outfit. -

9. Don’t  forget to take your veil with you when you have your hair trial.

10. If you are nervous of pressing your veil, ask the store where you bought it if they will steam it a couple of days before the wedding. You can transport it home covered in a pillow case or duvet cover depending on its length.

11. Don’t wear something because you think you should, wear what YOU want.

12. Don’t  make a decision about whether to wear a veil or not until you have tried some on  with  your dress.  A long veil can create a wonderful ‘aura’ around you.

13. Don’t  forget you can have a veil made to measure just as you can a dress.  You can have  the exact length and decoration that YOU want.
